EXIT Realty Corp. International is very proud of its association with Habitat for Humanity, EXIT's charity of choice. "Our beliefs are very similar", says Cindy Szinegh, EXIT's Vice President of Corporate Services. "We both believe in giving a 'hand up' not a 'hand out' to people who want more in their lives. As EXIT provides a hand up to our Associates through training unmatched in the industry and the opportunity to enhance their income through residuals, Habitat gives a hand up by providing interest-free mortgages to qualified families who may not otherwise know the pride of home ownership". A portion of every transaction fee collected by EXIT International is applied to its charitable fund.
Providing a place to call home...
Steve Morris, the Founder of EXIT Realty wanted to select a charity that was close to real estate, that helped people trying to help themselves. Steve wanted to change the spirit of real estate and try to put the feeling-factor back into the real estate industry because he felt it was lost somewhere along the way.
Over the last three years, Exit Realty Corp. International has donated over ONE MILLION DOLLARS, provided hundreds of man-hours and masses of volunteers to Habitat for Humanity efforts. Exit has joined in the fight for safer, sounder housing in the ongoing battle against poverty and homelessness. Exit has now completed three homes and currently has four under construction. More build announcements will be coming soon! Founder and CEO, Steve Morris and U.S. President, Tami Bonnell as well as Regional Owners, Franchisees and Agents don hardhats and participate in the builds. There is a special feeling in providing homes to families that so richly deserve the opportunity to live the dream.
